The Research Center for Overseas Korean Business and Culture (RCOKBC), Chonnam National University (CNU) holds  the Global Diaspora and World Chang Po-go CEO Forum on May 29th to 30th at the Yongbong Hall and College of Social Science, in cooperation with the Gwangju Metropolitan City Government and other prominent business partners. The academic forum held this year is overwhelmingly attended by esteemed experts from different universities not only in South Korea but in the world. The international conference also plans to found an international academic community to be known as the World Association of Global Diaspora Studies. ”It is sincerely hoped that many researchers join the international conference and support the extension of global Diaspora studies.” says Professor Lim Chae-wan, Director of the RCOKBC. This forum is meaningful for celebrating the 60th anniversary of CNU. Also, this congratulates Gwangju to be the host of the 12th World Korean Business Convention.
